| Debye I think your revised subs for episode one are much better. I just finished it, I'm going to watch the whole thing this weekend.. Thanks again for all of your work on this series! _________________ Back for the time being

| I've posted new and improved English and Japanese versions of Episode 2, which I hope you'll like. II know it makes the download list even messier than before, but things aren't stable enough yet to start .rar-ing the files together. Eventually...

| OK, I'll seed Ep 9 for a while. My episode 11 won't seed, showing 99.9% complete, even though it originally was at 100% and still plays fine. Any ideas why, out there?

Thanks for continuing to seed #9. That let me switch to #7, which had 6 DLs and no ULs. #11 still needs help, but my version's got a problem so far.
Incidently, with luck I might get revised Episode 3 out today or tomorrow.

| I've posted a revised version of Episode 3 (version 12), much improved on the original (version 9). Untranslated spots are down to half a dozen, and for the first time you can find out what's really going on with "Gauche, the Cellist."

| I see that episodes 1,8, and 9 have 4 or 5 DLs and no ULs, so I'll try seeding those for a while.

| I've just posted revised subtitles for Episode 4. The first-pass version was somewhat better, so the repairs were not as drastic as for Episodes 1-3. Still, there are a lot of changes, including periods at the ends of sentences, and more of the exciting story of Gauche and his cello. Hope you like it.

sorry, but I have to say this, these aren't really subtitles, it's mre like bad guesses about what they say, the romanizations are already way off what people are really saying, and the subs are often lightyears away from what is really said. Even simple things like "Haru wa ii yatsu dana" you didn't seem to understand, and it was even clearly said.
For those who don't understand japanese these subs will be totally misleading about the content, and if you even understand not that much japanese these subs will irritate you more than they help. I think you sadly lack the skills for subbing, if you'd at least be able to understand what people say it would be good, but you already fail at this, so even a dictionary cannot help you much, besides stuff like understanding Haru-kun as Haruku is really awful.
It's nice you made this effort to bring this series to more attention, but these subs are honestly unwatchable and at the current rate will prolly never be. I dunno if i should try and fix them up, but I'm kinda short on time, however as these subs currently ruin all the nice moments ...
maybe visit a japanese course before translating at least once

| This from a person who can't (or won't) spell "probably". Sort out your English before worrying about someone else's Japanese......

| Sorry, I never post comments but I feel that Mandude's comments above are way out of line and uncalled for. My Japanese is not very good so I can not disagree on certain points of what was written, but I do disagree with the manner used to convey Mandude's thoughts. Debye, I really appreciate all the work you have put into this project and I support your efforts.

Mandude, thanks for your comments, which I think have some truth to them. My first attempts at the first few episodes weren't too great, and I'm sorry if it spoiled your enjoyment. I will say in my defense that they weren't advertised as being a finished product. When I began doing these titles, I envisioned receiving feedback from other people which I would use to repair the bad spots. It became apparent after a few episodes that this wasn't going to happen, and I started trying to produce a more finished product. Once I finished the series, I went back to the beginning and began to redo the series from the start, using what I'd learned along the way, and making many cosmetic fixes. I've redone episodes 1-4 so far, and #5 is a few days away.
I'd really appreciate it, Mandude, if you could have another look at the reworked episodes, and see if you think they're still not worth bothering with. Any specific fixes you can suggest I'd be glad to incorporate.
Gozen, soganai, thanks for the kind words.

| I did some housekeeping to rebundle the revised (1-4) and unrevised (5-11) Japanese subs into a single .rar file. No content changes.
