After Dan Zi kills the guy whom Ah Bao sent to rape Yu Yan and gets locked away in prison, as a result of that, everyone’s life changed.
In order to not let herself be Yu Hao's burden any longer, Yu Yan tries diligently to get rid of her delicate and weak image and turns herself into "the big sister". Even though Yu Hao doesn't like Yu Yan's transformation, yet he is unable to stop her. Yu Yan is not willing to let Yu Hao know that she was raped before and for this reason, it is harder to convince him of the reason why she has to change. As a result, misunderstandings and conflicting opinions gradually draws a barrier between them.
On the other hand, because of Yu Hao's popularity, the boss of the Eagle Gang, Xiong Ge, wants to dampen Yu Hao's spirit and plans to bring up conflicts between Yu Hao and other gangs. This causes Yu Hao to be faced with a crisis from both the good and the bad sides. At this time, undercover cop, Ah Lie secretly shows up at Yu Hao's side and becomes good friends with him. Step by step, he gathers information on the gang's affairs and wants to destroy the Eagle Gang with one blow.
Just when Yu Hao and Yu Yan's relationship starts to get intense and unknowingly allows a "wolf" into their circle, the policeman who has helped Yu Hao ever since he was a child - Hui Shu - gets the information that Yu Hao is going to be framed by someone and could be used as a target for peace. Hui Shu does his best to convince Yu Hao to temporarily leave the mafia, lay low until something blows over, or else, once Yu Hao gets locked away in prison, at least four years of his youth would be lost.
Ah Qi, Hong Dou… even Xiong Ge all agree that Yu Hao should go into temporary seclusion, but the real reason that caused him to decide to make such a move is Yu Yan. Yu Hao is afraid that the distance between him and Yu Yan would grow further and further apart. Therefore, he wants to take her to lead the calm and steady life that she truly longs for. He hopes that he can take advantage of this chance to retrieve the happiness that they both had while they were in love.
With the help of everyone, Yu Hao and Yu Yan opened up a place to where people can fish for shrimps and lived some very happy and joyful days. All the affairs of the gang, Yu Hao temporarily hands off to Ah Qi to take care of. Furthermore, if everything goes smoothly, he even plans to perhaps not have anything to do with the mafia world anymore. However, with Ah Qi's reckless personality, he is unable to become a true leader of the gang. He has stabbed numerous gangsters and provoked many enemies. But for Yu Hao and Yu Yan, Ah Qi would not tell them what is going on.
Gradually, Ah Lie, becoming good friends with Yu Hao and Ah Qi, sees through to everything that is going on. On one hand, he is worried about Ah Qi and on the other hand, he doesn't want to destroy the calm and steady life of Yu Hao. However, the senior officer that sent him to this undercover job is putting pressure on Ah Lie. He wants Ah Lie to quickly pull Yu Hao back into the mafia world so that Ah Lie could search for information more conveniently, arrest the bad guys and finish the job. Eventually, the secret is out and Ah Qi couldn't cover up anymore and Yu Hao finds out about the crisis that the gang is faced with. Yu Hao returns to the Eagle Gang and builds up the power of the gang again. On the appearance, everything seems fine but in reality, he is just planting the root of disaster on himself and this causes Yu Yan to be extremely disappointed and sad.
In addition, Xiong Ge's adopted daughter, Lei Lei, constantly wants to possess Ah Lie. Faced with Lie Lie, who has a bias personality, Ah Lie has been trying to stay away from her evil ways since the beginning. In the end, he gradually sees the frail and sincere side of this young girl. Yet when he starts to have these unfamiliar feelings for Lei Lei, only then did he astonishing find out that Lei Lei is his younger sister! But because of his sensitive identity, he couldn't acknowledge her.
After Ah Lie has been working undercover for a number of days, his senior official gathers enough information from Ah Lie and decides to find an opportunity to eliminate the Eagle Gang. However, because Ah Lie has built up a friendship with Yu Hao, he doesn't wish that Yu Hao and the others will get caught. At this time, Ah Bao discovers Ah Lie's undercover identity. He was extremely anxious because Ah Lie knows about Ah Bao's secret on drug dealing and all its details. Ah Bao plans to use Yu Hao to kill Ah Lie and therefore, he releases the news of Ah Lie's undercover identity to Yu Hao.
Ah Lie discovers that his senior official never told any other unit about his existence, which means that his existence as an undercover cop is actually an unknown! His senior official wants to take all the credit for himself and that's why he created "a false cop"! What makes Ah Lie even more furious is that the senior official actually knows all along that Lei Lei is his younger sister. Yet he never told Ah Lie because he is afraid that it will influence Ah Lie's loyalty!
Ah Lie wants to tell the whole truth to Yu Hao yet he didn't know that Yu Hao already knows about his undercover cop identity. Actually, Yu Hao, Ah Qi, Yu Yan has already been suspicious of Ah Lie's identity from the beginning but they would rather trust in the Ah Lie that they know. They decided to give Ah Lie a chance.
But this type of thinking, Lei Lei doesn't know. She believes that Yu Hao would kill Ah Lie and therefore, she rushes off to save him. When Ah Lie is confronted with Yu Hao and the others who are willing to accept him, his heart is filled with emotions. He secretly pledges in his heart that he will go through life and death with this group of friends forever. However at this time, Lei Lei dashes in like a mad woman. In order to save the one that she loves, she opens fire at Yu Hao!
Without a thought of his own safety, Ah Lie throws himself in front of Yu Hao. Just like his father, he dies for loyalty and for friendship. Faced with the reality that she has killed the person that she loves, Lei Lei breaks down emotionally and since then, she has lost her sanity. As for Yu Hao and the others, on one hand they are after revenge for Ah Lie and on the other, they are after their own survival. They planned a trap to snare the senior official and in turn, bring shame to his name and to himself and causing him to be unable to continue with his existence in the police bureau.
After the matter passes, everything seems to be calm and peaceful. Yet within the hearts of each person, there is already a scar that is burned deep that could no longer be wiped away. And where will tomorrow bring them? No one is certain. Within the days of the mafia world, each day, seems like it is the last day…
