I don't have the exact figures but it did the worst out of all the chinese new year movies.

After visiting the site and watching the trailer, I can see how it bombed.

The premise seems to be "What is Batman was a cheesy kung-fu movie, starring a hot chick?"

Though the trailer did get a lot better with the line "I'm Man. Richman." I wouldn't be surprised if it's aware of how silly it is and plays it for laughs. Self-aware cheesiness can be a lot of fun.

it did bomb in hong kong, but it did really well in taiwan and china. in fact, they're in the process of making the sequel.
