Kame won the 23rd Best Male Jeanist Award!!!
Previous winners have been Kimura Takuya (1994-1998), Kusanagi Tsuyoshi (1999-2003), Domoto Tsuyoshi (2004). Both Kimura and Kusanagi were inducted to the Hall of Fame.

This tempo of his, since 2005... I wonder how long he can keep up with it. I hope he won't burn out himself. But I thought he has slowed down work compared to earlier...?
You think Kindaichi is boring???!! I l o v e the Kindaichi-dramas. (Btw, I think it was Kindaichi that made me realized I was a Kame-fan.  ) Though I thought the story was a bit silly. Anyway, I LOVE dectective stories, so what is better than a dectective story drama with my favourite actor? 
Although I don't think there will be a Kindaichi drama with Kame.
It's really too bad.... 
Dala3-chan, I've read that topic too. I think Kame looks gorgeous in jeans. 
Obviously there's more than me who thinks so too.

Kame seems to be getting all the right roles. Nobuta was a big stepping stone for him, as it really got him noticed as an actor. Sapuri is another step forward, as it got him out of playing a high school student. It's not as pure romantic drama as i'd like, but it's still good.
"tatta hitotsu no koi" looks like "the one" that could very well put him over the top as one of the the premier actors in Japanese drama today. The scriptwriter is Eriko Kitagawa (orange days, long vacation, beautiful life) and he's opposite Ayase! If there's such thing as a winning formula, this is it.

jica- yes, well when i first heard of kindaichi it sounded awsome...then i tried watching kame's special and jun's series...and they were just so cheesy/boring like the storylines weren't very interesting and the bad guy was always so obvious, so i didnt enjoy them at all

TG3- i totally agree with you, although i LUV school dramas i'm really happy that kame is getting the chance to branch out and play more adult roles to show what he's really made of b/c so many actors are in their mid 20s and are yet still stuck in high school roles.
oo can't wait to watch the new sapuri ep!!! anyone know how many eps it's going to be?? 11?

Hmmm i like school dramas
a lot.
not much of an office drama fan esp
but will do anything to support the turtle~
Still waiting for Yuuki subs...should be out soon!
Anyways...next will be a love story...this will be interesting...
