I'm editing some subs that were engrish translated from Chinese. There's this phrase "please bother you"...but it's not an everyday phrase in English. What's a more natural way to say this?_________________

I think I kind of know what the chinese saying, basically something that is said when you are asking for help. The closest phrase I can think of would be "thanks for your help"._________________ Join the VSS. Always on the lookout for good seeders.

I've noticed that people usually say this after asking someone to do something. In chinese there's also this phrase, which sounds like
ma fan ni (for mandarin/canto speakers)
Since the Japanese language was somewhat influenced by the chinese language, that phrase probably directly translates into Japanese, but it doesn't really exist in english.
this is similar to "please give me your guidance" which is an asian phrase, but doesn't really directly translate into english. in engrish it was "please give some advice"
I don't think it's "thanks for your help" although that comes pretty close. It's usually said before the person does something. It literally means "bother you" but not in a sense to bother someone. ....garr i can't explain this!! >.<
but for now I guess I'll use "thanks for your help", since that's the closest way of interpreting it. Thanks guys._________________

"sorry for the bother"?
"sorry for being bothersome"?_________________ Use THUMBS UP/DOWN buttons to KEEP or DELETE posts.
