| I have downloaded the subtitle and script. But how to use them? I have put ep. 16 sub smi file and rename it to the same name as the movie. But the hangeul does not display correctly. It only appears some weird font. Any hints?

I am always looking for Korean subs to dramas, and i can never find them!!
Did you do these yourself? cuz its impossible to find korean subs anywhere!!
Could some kind soul teach us how to have the Korean display properly? because it is showing right now as some really weird font

I see occasionally someone asks it, so I answer for future visitors.
the problem is that some subtitle displayers can not handle Korean(or other non Latin alphabets languages such as Russian Japanese,Hebrew etc).
There are several ways around it:
1. Change subtitle displaying software to something better.
2. Convert the file to Unicode(some subtitle displaying software support Unicode better)
3. Download Gom player, this player is of Korean origin, and it is independent of whatever codecs are installed in the computer. it also displays the subtitles independently
