Hi,
I don't know if you folks have the same problem I'm having with the subtitle. The Eng subtitle overlaps the Chinese subtitle. I'm using Media Player Classic and I have tried changing the options in 'Properties', but can't seem to either get the Eng subtitle to display at the top or to get rid of the Chinese subtitle. Has anyone experience this problem?
Thanks for your help !

download vobsub...it should be easier to setup your subtitles.

The easiest thing to do is to turn off the Windows Media Player subtitle feature. Use only the vobsub codec Sanine referred to to display the subs and you should be set.

Thanks crazylife123, I have vosub v2.23 installed. When the file is playing in MPC and when I right click on the screen and select Filters -> DirectVoSub -> Properties -- I don't know what to do from here.
Crossvii -- how turn off the Windows Media Player subtitle feature. Use only the vobsub codec? Is there a link to that?
It's hard enough reading the subtitle, but reading the subtitle above the subtitle. GrRRRRRR..
Thanks for your help !

You should see a green arrow on the lower right of the screen...right click and choose the correct subtitle....hide subtitle...choose chinese or english

There's no codec or anything fancy required to turn off the subtitle feature...just a couple of clicks.
In MPC, use the menu: PLAY>CAPTIONS AND SUBTITLES>OFF that way, MPC won't display the subtitles along with Vobsub. After that, just follow crazylife's tip and it should work.
