Who is Okasawa Takahiro, Hirosue Ryoko's husband?

Hirosue Ryoko is probably the cutest actress in Japan. I just learned that she was pregnant then called for a shotgun marriage to a guy named Okasawa Takahiro. (probaly old news to some of you but my ability to check out Asia news is illiterate)

Now I can't find who he is or what he looks like.

Can anyone please find a picture of him? (A pic of him and Hirosue Ryoko together would be much appreciated)

I need to go to Japan and murder him.

I don't know about Japan, or even all of Asia in general... In the West, you see beautiful female artists marrying average Joe's. Not on a regular basis, but it happens.

The one marriage that comes to mind is Lyle Lovett and Julia Roberts. Most people who know Lyle Lovett thinks he's an ugly, dorky looking guy with a totally out-of-style hairdoo. I was reading an article in Esquire Magazine (magazine for men) about him ten years or so ago. In the article, the two just got married, and everyone was wondering why it happened. Why did Julia end up with Lyle when she could have almost any other guy? Reading the posts about Ryoko and her choice of man, it is basically the exact scenario.

Simply put, most women want a man. A male is not a man just because he's a member of the male gender. In the article, Julia said that Lyle knows how to be a man. So exactly what is a man? In Lyle's words, a man is a male who is very confident, speaks well, dresses well, respects women, and has excellent manners. So even though Julia has the ability to land almost any guy she wants, it is possible that these really great looking, handsome or hot guys don't have the qualities of a man.

Another guy I read about in the past is Fabio. He has that Harlequin book cover body and looks. Thousands of women all over the world drool over this guy. However, the articles I read about Fabio claim that he can't satisfy women. However you want to interpret that -- it's up to you. So that's probably why he was single for years, got married recently and then divorced soon after.

So going back to the Ryoko situation... ANY GUY has a chance with ANY FEMALE. I think that's why Densha Otoko is the most popular Japanese drama right now. The story's basically sending a message to all the otaku and other dorks out there that, "Hey! You have some qualities women are looking for! You just need to know how to apply it to the right woman." That drama series reminds me of the movie Revenge of the Nerds, which sent out a similar message (the message I got out of it is that "Nerds do 'it' better. They researched it must more."

Even though Lyle and Julia are now divorced (marriage lasted less than two years), they're still good friends. So I doubt it was because of Lyle was a dork or an average Joe. As for Ryoko, I'd start submitting those marriage resumes right now... Even in Japan, divorces are becoming common. Tongue

errr.... I think TIticamara posted the pic for the sake of fun and humor so there's no need for such a long post from groink or anyone else to scream that Okasawa Takahiro is unworthty of their dearest Hirosue Ryoko.

This is the REAL Okasawa Takahiro. He's a model/designer/boxer, fairly tall and big for japanese standards if you ask me. Was fairly popular as a model 3/4 yrs back when they had a short term boom for models with a more muscular built. Right now, the trend for local japanese male models is back to the tall lanky types aka Nagase Tomoya and Hayami Mokomichi (they are the top featured celebrities in mens fashion magazine for the last 6 mths) so one can safely assume that Okasawa Takahiro is not working much as a model these days.

For a closer look, the guy on the left is Okasawa Takahiro. Don't bother thinking buying a ticket to Tokyo to beat him up. I think he passed some professional boxing test or something.
