I don´t know how to change the title of this topic,
Sorry if cause any trouble.
I just put that way because i thought that some people will not know what about is HANA YORI DANGO... only knew about Meteor garden... after all this is a Drama disscucion...
I don´t expect that everybody know about the manga and anime ^_^

YES!!! omg my friends and i LOVED the manga. i heard about the tawianese version but i heard that the acting wasnt as great.

I CANT WAIT TILL THIS COMES OUT!!! when is coming out.

MatsuJun! man, I can't wait. I've seen him act from Kindaichi 3, Kimi wa Petto, and Gokusen...I can't wait for his role on this one.

the manga is sooo good i dont want to spoil it by watching the taiwanese version, i won't even consider watching a few eps..the cast they make me puke

well, i hope the japanese version will do better, but the mangaka said that she actually draw rui hanazawa based on kimura takuya Roll Eyes

I watched the Hana Yori Dango anime and the Tawainese drama, and I have to say, the anime was not nearly as good as the drama(I was falling asleep with the anime). The drama was soo hilarious, and give this actors a break: they are all new(they weren't even trained, like Zai Zai was first casted when he was in Engineering school) so you can't expect them to be perfect actors, and I think his acting has improved alot over the years. It's not like these professional actors in this Jdrama(who have starred in many tv series), its like comparing apples to oranges. So ppl please, stop the bashing. I bet very few people can act as well as those in Meteor Garden without ever tried it before.

I can't wait for another drama to be made out of it, but I wonder if they have to cut out parts as this version is prob only 11-12 episodes while the tawainese ver is 27 episodes. Or maybe they'll extend it like they did with Gokusen but then we have to wait a while?

Im really liked Meteor Garden!!
Ok.. isn´t the best actors ever... but they do a good job
is funny and totally like the manga
The HYD anime only follow the manga until vol18
Meteor Garden didn´t follow all manga because Hyd manga hans´t finished, so stoped in 33 vol
all HYd manga has 36 vols.
I really like Meteor Garden, i even make my friends wacth! ^^
I think that Zai Zai is so a good actor
he is totally diferent in Mars..
and when you wacth Mars you can see all effort from him to make Lei...
his personality is so different... so carefree
But i'm really look for the New Drama!!!
Matsumoto Jun as Tsukasa will be so cool!!!!!!
He is a wondeful actor!

does meteor garden appeal to the guys?
i want to ask this to the guys who watched the drama and read the manga.....
girls might like it because of the cute boys right? but issit really that good?
issit safe to say that the story pretty much follows the manga?

i may be bias myself because i stay away from this drama cos the boys are too pretty!! arrhhh, my eyes!!! Tongue

but i don't want to miss any good drama...
i wanna see why this drama got many supporters Cool

I still can't believe that they'll be doing this Jdorama w/ Jun & Shun in it Suprise

...It's like a dream series for me. Plus the fact that...at last Shun has taken a much bigger role...He's done so many different characters before and I know he will be good also in this one Smile

as i was re-reading your post, i thought of something.
If i remember well ( and i DO ) in the tome 8, the F4 especially Rui and Tsukasa have a basketball match in order to decide who should be expelled. This is where i think it's a little bizzare : How can they make the cute-tiny-Matsujun ( who he's about 1.70 m - remember from kimiwapet....) pose as an almost pro basketball player.
The taiwanese F4 was far more realist for this, but less cute.....

can't wait for this dorama. I liked the Taiwanese drama too,Meteor Garden, but when it got to Meteor Garden 2, it got really boring Sleeping

I REALLY luv the manga, so if this dorama follows the manga, then it would be really cool!!! thumright

I would love to see the drama version of Hana Yori Dango! Seeing Meteor Garden 1 and 2 and the anime. I hope this version of the manga will be just a good.
