This is such a cool news. I didn't particularly like the manga nor did I like the Taiwanese version that much (the actings put me to sleep), but I'm definitely looking forward to the Jdrama pinch

I can't quite imagine Jun in the role as Tsukasa though, he just doesn't look the part. However, I think he's going to do just fine. Who is the girl who plays Makino? She's such a new face, I wonder what other series she has been in before. I am really anticipating this drama Big Smile

Wow, they're finally making a J-drama for HYD. I hope it won't be as doinky as the old live-action movie was. ^^

I didn't really like the manga nor the Taiwanese version either, but I'm so looking forward to this. I love the casts, mainly for Jun & Shun. Wub

Eh The season 2 tawainese version is kind of a dragging on from season 1 which follows the original story while season 2 is a joke!
I'm so looking forward to the jdrama of this, at least they won't dragg the story out no matter what.........anyway not likely to see a jdrama of Meteor Garden that's 50 something eps long haha

Even if it wasn't HYD, I'd still watch it just cuz MatsuJun is in it!!! Wub

wahhh!! I can't belive what I'm hearing and I'm even shaking from shok w00t

I'm really dying to watch the first episode!! I'm a fan of the manga and Tsukasa is my knight in shining armor Wub

and who is playing him....................it's MATSU JUN..waaaaahhhh I'm sure I will go crazy before even watching the first ep... Crying

Sweet. Cant wait for this one. Although I am a fan of the Taiwanese version, I gotta admit that the acting was rough around the edges. I hope the Japanese version will fare better and that some of the guys will get a freakin haircut. It is Flower Four not Androgynous Four. Tongue

I hope everyone here realizes that in the manga there was an amnesia plot as well and stuff similar to the tiwanese drama. Also when i stooped reading this manga around 2 years ago it was still going at 32 or 34 books ro something. I wonder if it actually finished. Hopefully in this drama they try and end it early and not try and fir that massive ammount of Manga plot into 11, 45 min episiodes. If they do its just gunna suck and make no sense at all. :/

Everyone is saying they hope its gunna be the same the the characters are gunna be the same but they dont have the time to be exactly the same. There is only so much plot you can effictivly cover in a Japanese drama I hope they dont try to cover too much. There is so much they can do with this I hope it turns out good. Smile

ohhh~ I can't wait! I love matsumoto jun and oguri shun, it'll definitely be better than ''meteor garden''. The acting was not so great in that drama (though some of the casts acting has improved recently), so the japanese version will definitely be better imo.
