SaNine, Please explain how to use the bulk torrent to finish downloading epi.01, I'm stuck at 97%.
Also, how do I selectively downloading only certain episodes from the whole batch.

A batch torrent contains all the individual episodes. It depends on the type of client you use, some clients don't allow for selection, others only allow selection after allocating HD space. Both bitcomet and utorrent allow you to select specific files when you open the torrent file. So if you dont use one of them and your client doesn't seem to do it then try one. Open the torrent file, select only the file you want and you're off.
Off course the purpose of batch files is to encourage you to seed all the eps you do have while waiting for the ones you don't to complete.
If your episode won't complet it may be tht nobody is sharing that part in which case ask for seeders in the
Seeding and Upload Requests or persuade people to nominate this series for Series of the Week/Month_________________ If you have enjoyed series you found here then please help the community by offering to seed in Series Of The Month |

HSDS2003 isn't a sequel to LOCH2003. It's more like a side story. The story start out 100-150 years later after Yang Guo. Yang Guo's great granddaughter/decendent shows up from time to time but it's not really a true sequel.
I can't wait for the next ROCH and HSDS. ROCH will be out next year and another remake of HSDS will probably be out 2007/2008. Maybe the remake of TLBB in 2007/2008 too. I really hope they use a Taiwan/Mainland's production and not a TVB production. |

actually.. legend of the condor heroes, return of the condor heros, and heavenly sword and dragon sabre are connected. they're a trilogy. LOCH and ROCH are back to back sequals while HSDS takes place about 100 or so years after ROCH.. the guy who wrote these stories wrote it like that.. and it's a true sequal. look it up.
the file format of this upload is perfect the way it is. .. its a nice and small file.. plus the quality is still great. so no need for any changes. much appreciated for all the hard work in uploading this series..

Yea, its a trilogy, as its Kwok Jing and Wong Yong from LOCH that created the swords, thats why the old woman from that sect knew the secret (Zhou Zhiruo master) because that sect was created by Kwok Jing's daughter (the one that was friends will Yang Guo not the daughter who chopped his arm) |
Ahh.. is it? No wonder the sword has the Art of Nine Negation in it.. it was created by Guo Jing? hmm.. So Guo Xiang founded the Ngor Mei Sect? But she was very eccentric.. why is the sect so serious and stuff?? :/ And why did the sect lose the Art of Nine Negations? Doesnt Guo Xiang know it?? and why are they in a sour relation with Wu Dang sect? I thought Guo Xiang rescued the old guy Zhong Zan Yan?

I haven't read the novels yet either, but I've seen the old TVB version with Tony Leung and thats when it talked about it.
Both swords were created by the couple, thats why the Dragon sword had the book about war tactics which Kwok Ging used in LOCH when he was working for Genghis Khan.
Yes Guo Xiang was quite eccentic, I think the sect became more serious when the master past from different people.
I think the swords were created so that it would somehow pass to the right person and not be lost, rather than be property of ngor mei sect, its just that they knew the secret because of Guo Xiang being the daughter.
Don't think Guo Xiang knew the martial arts that was in the sword otherwise the sect would know it and wouldn't have needed the sword. |
Who do you think the flower girl that save Zhang Wu Ji...a great granddaughter/descendent/etc...?
I didn't Guo Xiang was somehow related to the sect. Actually, she was very interested in Yang Guo...so it didn't really surprise me. I didn't catch that. Maybe I should read these novels. I know Guo Jing and his wife was somehow related to the swords. |

Guo Xiang did have a thing for Yang Guo which is why she ended up creating Ngor Mei sect and never got married in the end. |
if you guys want to know more about Jinyong (aka Louis Cha) and his novels, you can go tto www.Wikipedia.org. search for his name and you will find a huge amount of information for his works. and yeah, Gou Jing and Huang Rong created the sword before killed when defending Xiang Yang 13 years after Yang Guo killed the previous Mongolian King and stopped the war. the heavenly sword is given to Guo Xiang who will later become the founder of the emei sect a decade later when the Dragon Saber which is given to Guo Jing's son is lost (because the only survivor of the battle is Guo Xiang when Xiang Yang fell). Guo Xiang's intention for forming Emei Sect is to find Yang Guo and Xiao Long Nu who are untraceable since their last meeting and the fall of Xiang Yang and the Dragon Saber which is her family's legacy. Yang Guo and Xiao Lung Nu did have one daughter, but the later generation is not mentioned.

and about those qualities of older and newer version of wuxia, i agree and disagree 
agree, for example, ROCH 1985 version of Andy lau is the best and the other later ones are not that good for me.
disagree because ROCH 2006 with Huang Xiao Ming and Liu Yi Fei has proven that the newer version can be better than the older ones once they do it seriously. i have made a review that u may want to read (although it is purely my opinion) at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:The_Return_of_the_Condor_Heroes_%282006_TV_series%29
