Just a pity the 2nd story (Return of the Condor Hero's or whatever it's called) isn't being done as well, the latest (2003?) version.
I know Jem's capturing the 2003 version of the first one and it's called Legend of the Arching Hero.

HSDS2003 isn't a sequel to LOCH2003. It's more like a side story. The story start out 100-150 years later after Yang Guo. Yang Guo's great granddaughter/decendent shows up from time to time but it's not really a true sequel.
I can't wait for the next ROCH and HSDS. ROCH will be out next year and another remake of HSDS will probably be out 2007/2008. Maybe the remake of TLBB in 2007/2008 too. I really hope they use a Taiwan/Mainland's production and not a TVB production.

errr theres a connection between these 2 stories?..lolz..i never knew..
Yang Guo's great granddaughter/decendent hmmmmz..u mean the girl that shows up at like the end tournament thingy in hsds? im confused>.< i saw hsds ages aggo viet dubbed and just started 2 see roch awhile aggo...but roch is like the viet series"Co gai do long"(that i saw) or atleast viet dubbed:P so..im realli confused..

Well...when you watch this series again...you'll see what I mean. The flower girl usually shows up when Zhang Wu Ji (Alec Su) gets into trouble. The 3rd and last meeting with ZWJ, ZWJ asked for her identity. She mentioned some stuff to him about the Condor Hero but she didn't say that she's related...so we assume that she's related to Yang Guo. Plus, her inner strength and skills are very powerful.
Plus, there were some scenes that people talk about Guo Jing and his wife. Watch the series again and you'll see what I mean.

well..
1. there's like 40eps .. so if i gave it a higher bitrate like u suggested.. it'll mean the series will be over 20GB large.. if you want large files.. i suggest u go to FSC and download the dual audio VCD version in .dat
2. The episode IS encoded in XviD.. just i put it in a OGM container so you can play it with dual audio. In ogg format do u mean for the audio? I can use another format such as AAC.. but ogg is kinda the smallest in filesize

Whats wrong with .sub? With .sub i can put chinese subs as well as english subs together.. .srt would mean i'll have to OCR Rip it :/

Great Upload SaNine, I watched this series a while, back, It wasn't the 1986 verison, I think it was the one after that. The one with the cool intro song, and that one main male lead, the one that always looks like he is gonna cry.
Anyways, you did a great job, the file size is just right for a series 40eps long, and the format, perfect. I saw this series posted on FSC a while back, but didn't get it since no eng subs, thanks, I've always wanted to watch this verison since I heard it was good. I'll be seeding, cause I want the next episode!

that is why I want to ask you if perhaps you can do it in .avi instead while keeping this clear of a quality now that I have seen how clear it was done!!!!!
