"Densha Otoko" Investigation/Experiment (subbed)

Today (24.08, 21:00-21:54) they showed "trivia no izumi" (toukai terebi channel) where they did a research in akihabara if there were any real "densha otaku" out there... that is, they staged the "annoying old man"-cenario and watch if the bypassing otakus would rescue the maid in despair. Well, first of all i just want to point out that 69 out of 100 otakus came to the rescue!! (sasuga otaku!) Big Smile

and then... since I didn't get a chance to see the entire program was wondering if someone recorded it and could put a torrent up?

Looks like akiba-kei can be hooked really easily with the right bait.
As a social experiment I would be interesting to see if other "normal" passers by would react differently in the same situation. For example a woman..?
I didn't understand the conversation between the woman and her assailant so I don't know if I could definitely say they weren't a couple. If I thought it was a possibility I might be tempted to say away in case they both turned on me! That would be my excuse anyway!

I got a bloody nose when I went for a guy who was throwing stones at my wife. If I get into that situation again I won't fight clean next time Mad
