Densha-lover and I (sirynx77) might sub Densha Otoko DX special. We were one of the teams that subbed eps 9-11. It all depends if the special is any good. We had previously decided to opt out from subbing the first special that aired after the original show since we thought it was boring and not necessary for the canon of the story. Densha-lover did show interest in translating this but it I will have to check with him if he will be able. We will keep you posted.

I have not heard back from Densha-Lover yet. I did note that another fellow Densha fansubber might sub the special. Masakun has shown interest since tianj posted the a reference timed script. You guys can follow the thread here:

this was a pretty popular series. several fansubbers subbed multiple eps each. if you sub and complete the special, it will be added to the first post. multiple subs are welcome.

Subtitles for the Deluxe SP have been posted by Masakun, and are available on page 4 of this thread. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if they're moved/copied over here to this thread though, if any moderator would like to do that…
