Both the following pictures were taken this very morning and now I've grown my hair so long I haven't a clue what I should do with it apart from there is no way I'm getting it cut short again now. ^ ^;
Edit: Sorry guys but these images were removed from my ftp recently.

The length is coming along nicely but on the picture it looks a bit thin and fragile.
The best way to strengthen your hair is to cut it, at least that worked for me, don't cut it a lot but small bits on a regular basis, like every 3 - 4 months is good, it also helps to grow it faster.
Besides that, I recommend using Garnier Fructis http://images-cdn01.associatedcontent.com/image/A1422/142288/300_142288.jpg, it works really well also using shampoo that makes it easier to comb when it's getting much longer also helps a lot, I recommend this one: http://www.drogisterij.net/producten/afbeelding/3252844.jpg.
Even though I recently cut my hair short, I used to have hair long enough that I could sit on it, that means my hair was over a meter long, taking good care of your hair is the only way to really get it long.
Good luck with growing your hair.

Thank you for the advise. It hasn't been cut in well over 8months now and have been considering getting it tidied up a bit for a while now so i guess i should get it trimemd a little bit then. Never used any hair producst before outside of random shampoo of a random shops shelf so am very clueless on that side of things. ^ ^;
