It has come to my attention that there are quite a few people searching for old torrents that were posted here awhile back but got deleted due to the torrents not being on our bittorrent tracker. I have also seen reupload of torrents that used to be here. So I thought we could just share the torrents in ths thread. I also wanted to get the message out that those torrents will still eventually get deleted because they are not on d-a's tracker. The reason behind this is because they eat up d-a's resources and they already exist on other sites so there is really no need for them to be reposted again. The lifespan for non d-addicts torrents will last approximately 14 days. If you want them to stay here permanently, you would have to make/upload the torrent file and seed it yourself. Kapish?

With that being said, if you need a torrent that used to be here, please post in this thread and maybe someone will help you out by emailing the torrent for you. I hope this will be of use... Unsure

anyone of us could probably set up a torrent server to host these torrents up (for maybe 3-6 months, though i think usually torrents die out after 3 or so months unless there is a re-seed system (like csotm,vss) for them). anyway good idea kai lien

It would be interesting to see who would participate in a series seeding group if there was a torrent file server associated with the members of this site, or the site itself. For example:

If someone was to put up a torrent server for the purpose of hosting older torrents of dramas, would people sign up for series seeding? This would allow for more seeding of the classics, which are not designated as the CSOTM. This way series like Mars, MG+, etc. could prospectively have a pool of seeds at any given time. It would have to be a proactive part, but I'm sure that people would be interested.

I, personally, have an old box that I use to host drama series on. I set up the old box, put only the series that I've been seeding on that HD and leave it on, when I switch to a different series, I pull the old series back to my file server and the new series on the box. If my modem didn't constatly over-heat when I'm out of the house, I'd be sharing a bunch more bandwidth than I do now.

If anyone has an old PC and would like to set something like that up, I would be willing to help out and walk people through the steps necessary to do it. even 200Mhz or less can do it, it doesn't take much and the benefits are reward enough.

^^hm, that link isn't working for me. if it doesn't work for you, you can pretty much search yourself. i've made a short tutorial in how to search at btchina. it's not much, but hopefully it helps those who want to download from there. (note: i posted it in the 'Amor de Tarapaca' thread already, but i'm going to put it here so that people who are interested in chinese torrents can find it if needed.)

BTChina Search Tutorial (USE IE FOR BEST RESULTS)
1. enter your search term in the red circle. (if you've gotten a link from this site to btchina, you've skipped this step.)
2. when the search results come up, click on the name of the torrent you want. in the past, right click and save as hasn't always worked, but you can try it.
3. your bt program should start up after you download the torrent.

tips to searching at btchina:
1. be patient. it loads pretty slowly. if you ever have a problem, wait at least a few minutes before trying to refresh or going back and doing a new search.
2. look for this word 全 when you're searching for old series. it means 'all' so that means the torrent you download will be a bulk torrent for the whole series.

key to circle colors:
red - search box
blue - torrent name (click on it to download the torrent)
orange - file size (if i've posted a link, i'll indicate a file size to let you know which one to download)
green - seeders
yellow - leechers
purple - alternate links to download torrent

I have been downloading twin of brothers for a while now until my system crashed and need reformating to work properly again. As a result, I lost all tracks of my downloading files. Sad

I am wondering whether any1 of you here know where I can regain the torrent for that series. The torrent consists of the whole series (1 - 42 eps) and was posted here some time ago. Thanks in advance.
