it's SOOOOOOOOO sad to read this. although i have to say, i had the same feeling but kept giving myself some false hopes.
to tell you the truth, watching more and more japanese dramas of this season and last season, i could not see any drama that would have been suitable for him. (unless he gets some of great scripts that kimutaku is getting, but this is really unfair to keep this kind of scripts only for one particular person. it does not give others the equal apportunity to prove themselves)
i read the news about mabo's new drama yesterday and i had another heartbreak. because as you said, it means is very unlikely for tomoya have one too.
in my part, i thought Maou was a good drama to have tomoya in. i loved it as it is now but to me, tha main characters were a bit too youngish looking to believe. like toma as the cop. somehow i want to see Tomoya do a not so nice/good character. i have never seen him is those role. i just want to see how he portrays an evil guy. (i am sure i will loving his roles a lot). the character in ringue was not very evil too me as i never hated his character.

..At first I was a bit shocked to read that poor Babe was bored doing dramas so early, but I guess he had his reasons. However, I was really happy to hear that it was IWGP that made Babe find inspiration for dramas again, because it's one of my favourite dramas

I'd absolutely LOVE to see that!!!
I'm pretty sure I would adore him all the same, even if his character is supposed to be mean (this based on my own experience of unconditional admiration to Takayama-san in Ringu ...But maybe his character wasn't evil enough.. )

BTW i think i figured out why babe had this particular haircut...sadlly as kokitty mentioned it doesn't appear too be a new drama ,but according to johnny's site, tokio are going to be on another oldies show on Sunday where they perform songs from the 50s & 60s...so i'm guessing
that the new look is related to it (Tomoya wore his hair differently on the first "That's Enkai-tainment" show a few months back)
again i'm just guessing so this could be totally wrong and turns out to be just another case of NAGASE being NAGASE !

talking about tomoya/TOKIO appearance, there is also an dash ep that challanges the members and is on 9th of oct. so looking forward to it.
and Tomoya/Yamagouchi Vs Arashi part in 5LDK has been subbed by ohmiya on lj. it's short but very fun to watch. specially watching sempais bully their juniours. (just for the fun of course )
Nino and Aiba seemed to know baby well enough as they both have done drama with him.
as for the hair, after kokitty's caps, i think i am getting used to it. after all, I WANT TO SEE NAGASE BEING 100% NAGASE and nothing else.

it's not so bad.I really enjoyed the SP presentation with Arashi , I can't stand

Finally I found the time (and the link of the thread and the last post I read) to reply to you all!
I've read all the replies (like I haven't in a long time) and I've seen new people here, that's so great. More tomobabe's fans, that makes me happy
As for Babe's last haircut, I think it suits him and in VS Arashi he looked hot and I was in awe when I saw him talking and playing. Really, I couldn't stop clapping (pretty silly doing it in front of a computer, I know )

Hi, I've been a lurker in this thread for a while now but decided to register just to join this thread XP. I've liked Tomo since I saw him in My Boss, My Hero about a year ago, and since then, I have been trying to watch everything Tomo-related (which is very hard when you have to work and go to school).
The reasons why I like him are:
His eyes are gorgeous
His smile is sooo cute
The fact that he looks "manly", unlike some of the newer Johnny boys
His voice is deep when he talks but is high when he sings
He has the weirdest sense of fashion, but doesn't seem to care ^_^
His hair looks good both short and long (I even like his new hair style)
etc.
